Improve employee productivity
Reduce time spent searching across order, inventory, warehouse and book-status information before an employee can act.
Primewayz business impact assessment
Primewayz was asked to assess where AI-agent capabilities could reduce repetitive employee effort, accelerate order handling and help customer requests reach resolution sooner. The assessment focused on real RentReadBuy operating work: how teams gather information, interpret order and inventory states, decide what happened and determine the next action.
Engagement mandate
Primewayz was asked to identify where AI-agent capabilities could reduce repetitive operational work, accelerate order handling and help customer-facing teams resolve requests sooner, while keeping important business decisions under RentReadBuy control.
Reduce time spent searching across order, inventory, warehouse and book-status information before an employee can act.
Identify fulfilment blockers and inventory inconsistencies earlier so operational issues can move toward resolution faster.
Give customer-facing teams a clearer reason behind an issue and a stronger basis for the next customer conversation.
Primewayz evaluation
Primewayz reviewed the parts of the RentReadBuy journey where employees repeatedly collect, compare and interpret operational information. Each area was assessed against a business question, not against a technology checklist.
| RentReadBuy areaWhere we looked | Evaluation questionWhat we needed to understand | Implementation decisionWhat this means for the solution |
|---|---|---|
| Customer requests | Can the request be answered reliably from approved RentReadBuy information, or does it require a live operational investigation? | Separate business guidance from live order and inventory investigation. |
| Order exceptions | Can the real reason behind a failed or blocked order be established from the available operational information? | Bring relevant order and fulfilment facts together before recommending the next step. |
| Inventory availability | Can website availability be reconciled with the book actually recorded in a warehouse? | Compare customer-facing stock with the warehouse record for the individual book instead of trusting one stock flag. |
| Rental circulation | Can an existing rental prevent a purchase or fulfilment decision? | Include the current status of the actual book when evaluating purchase fulfilment. |
| Employee effort | Which repeated checks consume employee time before the real decision can be made? | Move repetitive information gathering and comparison into the agent-assisted workflow. |
| Escalation | Can the available evidence resolve the issue, or is another team still required? | Recommend escalation only when the available business information is insufficient or a human decision is required. |
| Automation potential | Is the task repetitive, predictable, measurable and safe enough to automate later? | Start with assisted investigation and recommendation; automate only after the process and controls are proven. |
Primewayz implementation decision
Suitable for a controlled pilotThe assessment identified investigation and decision support as the strongest first implementation area. The agent can gather the relevant RentReadBuy information, compare the operating states, explain what the evidence means and recommend a next step. The RentReadBuy team validates customer-impacting or business-changing actions before they are carried out.
AI-assisted business process
The process is designed around the business decision the employee needs to make. The agent carries more of the information gathering and interpretation; the team keeps control of the action.
The process starts with the actual need: for example, “Why did this order fail?”, “Is this book available?” or “Can the customer buy this title?”
The agent decides whether the request can be answered from approved RentReadBuy business knowledge or whether current order, inventory or fulfilment information is required.
Only the information required for the case is brought together, such as order status, product availability, warehouse location, current book status and rental circulation.
The agent checks how those facts relate to each other and keeps contradictions visible instead of hiding them behind a single status.
Raw statuses are converted into a business explanation of what is happening, what is blocking progress and what may still need verification.
The agent suggests an appropriate operational response, such as reconciling inventory, monitoring a rental return, reviewing stock or preparing a customer follow-up.
The employee reviews the information used, the conclusion and the recommendation before any customer-impacting or business-changing action is approved.
The approved action is carried out by the responsible team so the order, inventory issue or customer request can move toward resolution.
Employee productivity
Stakeholders and ownership
The AI agent supports several parts of the RentReadBuy journey, but responsibility remains explicit. Each stakeholder has a defined role in providing information, validating decisions or acting on the result.
| Stakeholder | Role in the AI-assisted process | Retained ownership |
|---|---|---|
| RentReadBuy management | Set customer-service priorities, business rules and the acceptable boundary for future automation. | Approval of business policy, risk tolerance and progression beyond the pilot. |
| Operations team | Use the agent for order and fulfilment investigations and validate recommended operational actions. | Operational resolution and exception handling. |
| Customer support | Use clearer operational findings to respond to customer questions and order issues sooner. | Customer communication and service recovery. |
| Inventory & warehouse | Reconcile website availability with the actual books recorded in warehouse operations. | Inventory correction and physical-stock confirmation. |
| Primewayz AI & engineering | Design the agent workflow, connect the required RentReadBuy information, test behaviour and monitor the pilot. | Implementation quality, controls, evaluation and technical operation. |
| Application / data owners | Ensure the required business information is reliable and available through controlled application interfaces. | Data quality, system behaviour and source-system corrections. |
Implementation requirements
Primewayz treats the agent as part of an operating process. The pilot is only useful when the information, decision boundary, human validation and measurement approach are defined before broader automation is considered.
Validated RentReadBuy examples
These cases show why the first implementation focuses on investigation, explanation and recommendation rather than unrestricted automation.
The order was FAILED. The investigation connected it with the required physical book and found that Copy 24 in Noida was already IN_CIRCULATION, with no available backup shown in the returned information.
The team moved from a generic failure status to a specific fulfilment problem: the purchase had no current book available to fulfil it.
Product 45289 showed OUT_OF_STOCK with quantity 0, while Copy 3553 in Gurugram was recorded as AVAILABLE and NEW.
The contradiction became visible for reconciliation before it could continue affecting rental or purchase decisions.
The assistant recognised this as a RentReadBuy process question and answered it from approved business knowledge without checking unrelated order or inventory data.
The same assistant can distinguish routine business guidance from a live operational exception and use the appropriate response path.
Expected pilot outcomes
These are planning targets for a controlled pilot, not measured production results. The purpose of the pilot is to replace these assumptions with observed RentReadBuy operating data.
Modeled reduction from approximately 12.4 to 4.6 minutes per supported investigation.
Projected pilot targetExpected where available RentReadBuy information is sufficient to explain the issue without another handoff.
Projected pilot targetModeled at approximately 500 supported investigations per month, creating more time for fulfilment and customer work.
Projected pilot targetPilot target for human-validated conclusions produced from the same operational evidence.
Projected pilot targetA separate customer-facing success measure should track whether employees can reach a usable explanation and next response sooner for supported order and inventory requests.
Human validation and control
The first implementation is intentionally designed to reduce manual investigation without giving the agent unrestricted authority over orders, inventory or customer communication.
Iterative and recurring automation
Automation is treated as the result of a proven operating process, not the starting point. Primewayz would only move a recurring RentReadBuy task toward automated execution after the rule, information, exception path and measurable outcome are stable.
Confirm the process is defined, repetitive and worth improving.
Let the agent gather information, reason over the case and recommend the next step.
Have employees review recommendations and capture where the agent is right, incomplete or needs correction.
Turn recurring, successful patterns into an agreed operational procedure with explicit approval and exception rules.
Automate only suitable low-risk actions, with monitoring, escalation and the ability to stop or recover the workflow.
Use actual operating results to refine the process, expand safely or remove automation that does not create value.
A recurring task moves toward automated execution only when all of the following are clear:
